Before riding check the screws on your bindings - make sure they are tight. Binding screws will loosen up due to vibrations during riding. Apply a small amount of loctite to the screws help prevent loosening.
Check for cracks in your straps periodically
Always clean and dry your board after use
Always store your gear in a climate controlled area - basements and garages are the worst places
Always lace or coil up boots when not in use; this helps keep the shape and fit of the boot
After 3 days of use you board needs wax

Make sure there is no debris in your bindings before use, for example road salt from transporting in roof racks
